Pittsburgh, PA (March 26, 2003)—BodyMedia, Inc., a leading developer and provider of continuous body monitoring applications for clinical and consumer healthcare markets, announced today, that it has been awarded United States Patent No. 6,527,711, entitled "Wearable Human Physiological Data Sensors and Reporting System Therefor." The patent covers the design and application of wearable computers containing physiological sensors, shaped for user comfort and mobility. The patent is extensive and provides BodyMedia with significant commercial protection for its current and future products.
