The BodyMedia® FIT system is designed to help you manage your lifestyle – from calorie consumption to exercise and
sleep efficiency. All you have to do is wear the Armband and periodically upload its data on your computer. It’s an easy, 1-2-3
process.

Establish Your Goals
First, log onto the BodyMedia FIT Activity Manager, and establish your goals.

Wear Your Armband
Second, start wearing the BodyMedia Armband on your left arm.

Upload Your Data
Periodically, take the Armband off and plug it into you computer. Your data will automatically upload to the
Activity Manager using BodyMedia SYNC. You can immediately view your data on the Activity Manager and see
how close you are to reaching your goals. Once you've gotten the hang of it, you'll be able to track your
progress over time, see certain time periods, and set new targets and goals!
In order to lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume. Since there are about 3,500 calories in a
pound of fat, every time you burn 3,500 more calories than you consume, you’ve lost a pound. If you’re looking to lose that pound in a
week’s time, you have to burn about 500 more calories than you consume every day.
The System has been designed to help you learn what 500 calories IS because knowledge is power! Once you
understand what it’ll take to reach your goals, you can adjust your diet and exercise plan to meet them.
