Steve MenkeChief Information OfficerSteve Menke is the Chief Information Officer at BodyMedia. He and his team architect, design, and implement all software products for BodyMedia. His team also orchestrates ecommerce sales and manages the largest living database of information taken from the human body. Steve is the strategic architect of partner integrations. His work at BodyMedia has been honored with the Popular Science Best of What’s New award in the Personal Health category for 2005. Prior to BodyMedia, Steve developed expertise in distributed systems and has applied this knowledge to the fields of industrial controls, telecommunications and medical devices. At Westinghouse Process Control, Steve was instrumental in developing the Ovation system, which now controls more than half of the power plants in the United States. A leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, Steve brings a blend of business and technical knowledge to BodyMedia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. |
